GoodGut Nutrition
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Thank you for shopping with GoodGut Nutrition. We ship our products to customers across the United Kingdom, United States, European Union and numerous other international destinations.
Please read this Shipping Policy before placing your order, particularly if you are ordering from outside the United Kingdom or United States.
1. Shipping Locations and Dispatch Warehouses
GoodGut Nutrition operates an international fulfilment network to serve customers worldwide.
Orders may be dispatched from different locations depending on the delivery destination, product availability and fulfilment requirements.
United Kingdom Orders
Orders delivered within the United Kingdom are generally fulfilled through our UK distribution network.
United States Orders
Orders delivered within the United States are generally dispatched from our US warehouse.
European Union Orders
Orders delivered to countries within the European Union are shipped from outside the European Union, primarily from the United States and, on occasion, from the United Kingdom.
As shipments originate outside the EU, they may be subject to import VAT, customs duties, customs clearance charges and other fees imposed by the destination country.
Other International Orders
Orders to other international destinations may be dispatched from our US or UK fulfilment facilities.
The dispatch location may differ from our registered business address and may change without prior notice.
2. Shipping Rates and Free Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated according to the delivery destination, order value and available delivery services.
The applicable shipping charge will be displayed at checkout before your order is completed.
Our current free-shipping offers include:
-
United Kingdom: Free standard shipping on qualifying orders over £50.
-
United States: Free standard shipping on qualifying orders over $70.
-
Other international destinations: Shipping charges are displayed at checkout unless a free-shipping promotion applies.
Free-shipping thresholds and promotional offers may change. Any applicable shipping charges will be disclosed before payment.
Free shipping covers the applicable delivery service only. It does not automatically include import VAT, customs duties or courier clearance charges.
3. Order Processing and Delivery Times
Orders are processed and dispatched as promptly as possible.
Processing and delivery times depend on the destination, product availability, warehouse location, courier service and customs clearance requirements.
Where an estimated delivery timeframe is provided at checkout or in your shipping confirmation, it is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date unless expressly stated otherwise.
International deliveries may take longer because of customs inspections, import processing, local postal services or other circumstances outside our direct control.
If an order is materially delayed, please contact us so that we can investigate.
Nothing in this section affects statutory rights relating to delivery deadlines, non-delivery or delayed delivery.
4. Customs Duties, Import VAT and Clearance Fees
Important information for international customers
Orders dispatched internationally may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, handling charges, clearance fees or other taxes imposed by the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in the price paid to GoodGut Nutrition and are the responsibility of the customer.
Such charges are determined by local authorities and shipping carriers rather than GoodGut Nutrition.
This includes orders qualifying for free shipping.
For orders delivered into the European Union:
-
Products are shipped from outside the EU, primarily the United States and occasionally the United Kingdom.
-
Import VAT may be payable when the goods enter the destination country.
-
Customs duties may apply depending on the goods, their value and applicable customs rules.
-
Delivery carriers may charge additional customs clearance or handling fees.
-
Customers may be required to settle these charges before delivery is completed.
Where taxes or import charges have already been collected at checkout under an applicable prepaid-duty or tax arrangement, those same charges should not be collected again upon delivery.
Customers who believe they have been charged import taxes twice should contact us with the relevant documentation.
We strongly recommend checking the import requirements and likely charges applicable in your country before placing an international order.
5. Refusal to Pay Customs Charges and Returned Shipments
Please read this section carefully before placing an international order.
International customers are responsible for paying applicable import duties, taxes and customs clearance charges where these have not already been included at checkout.
If a customer refuses or fails to pay applicable import charges and the courier is consequently unable to deliver the parcel, the shipment may be returned to its originating warehouse or another designated fulfilment facility.
Returning an international parcel can result in substantial shipping and handling costs.
Where a parcel is refused or returned because the customer declines to pay properly disclosed import charges, GoodGut Nutrition reserves the right to recover the reasonable original outbound shipping cost incurred in dispatching the order, where legally permitted.
This provision also applies to orders that qualified for free shipping, as GoodGut Nutrition still incurs a cost to dispatch these shipments.
The recoverable amount will be based on the actual outbound shipping cost incurred by GoodGut Nutrition, rather than an arbitrary administrative penalty.
Where permitted by applicable law, additional reasonable and documented costs directly arising from the refused delivery may also be recoverable, including:
-
Return-to-sender courier charges.
-
Additional customs handling or clearance fees incurred because of the refusal.
-
Other unavoidable carrier charges directly attributable to the failed delivery.
Any legally recoverable amount may be deducted from a refund where permitted, and an itemised explanation will be provided.
These charges will not apply where the failed delivery results from an error by GoodGut Nutrition, incorrect shipping or customs documentation for which we are responsible, or charges which we agreed to pay.
Statutory consumer rights
Nothing in this section restricts any mandatory consumer protection rights.
In particular, where an EU or UK customer validly exercises a statutory right of withdrawal, any refund of the original standard delivery charge and any liability for return costs will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Refusing delivery or leaving customs charges unpaid does not, by itself, necessarily constitute a valid exercise of the statutory right of withdrawal. Customers wishing to cancel should notify us clearly through our Refund Policy or by contacting us.
6. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address, including any required apartment number, postal code, building information and contact details.
If an incorrect or incomplete address results in an unsuccessful delivery, the parcel may be returned to the sender.
Where the error was supplied by the customer, we reserve the right to recover reasonable, documented additional delivery or return charges, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If a replacement shipment is requested, additional shipping charges may apply and will be communicated before redispatch.
Please contact us immediately if you discover an address error after placing your order. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once a shipment has been dispatched.
7. Failed Delivery Attempts and Uncollected Parcels
Depending on the courier and destination, delivery may require a signature, collection from a local delivery point, or action by the recipient.
Customers should monitor tracking notifications and take reasonable steps to receive or collect their shipment.
If a parcel is returned because it was not collected or delivery was repeatedly unsuccessful for reasons attributable to the customer, reasonable, documented additional shipping costs may be recoverable where those costs were appropriately disclosed and are permitted by applicable law.
We will investigate any disputed delivery or return before determining whether additional charges apply.
This section does not apply where a delivery failure is attributable to GoodGut Nutrition or its delivery partners, or where imposing charges would conflict with statutory consumer rights.
8. Order Tracking
Where tracking is available, shipping confirmation and tracking details will be provided using the email address supplied during checkout.
Tracking information may not update immediately following dispatch and may experience temporary gaps during international transport or customs clearance.
Customers are encouraged to monitor tracking information, especially where local customs authorities or couriers may request additional information or payment.
If you have concerns about your shipment, please contact info@goodgutnutrition.co with your order number.
9. Lost, Delayed or Missing Parcels
If your parcel appears lost, is substantially delayed, or has not arrived within the applicable delivery timeframe, please contact us.
We will investigate the shipment with the relevant delivery partner and work towards an appropriate resolution.
Where goods are lost before delivery, GoodGut Nutrition will provide a replacement or refund as required by applicable consumer law.
A parcel being marked as dispatched or being transferred to a courier does not, by itself, remove any statutory responsibility GoodGut Nutrition has for delivery to the customer.
10. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If any products arrive damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please contact us at info@goodgutnutrition.co.
Where possible, include your order number, a description of the problem and photographs of the affected items and external packaging.
We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Customers will not be required to pay return shipping charges for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products where the law requires GoodGut Nutrition to bear those costs.
11. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable consumer protection legislation.
Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact us as soon as possible.
Orders which have already been dispatched may not be capable of being intercepted or stopped in transit. However, statutory cancellation rights continue to apply where relevant.
For customers within the European Union, applicable withdrawal rights include the right to cancel an eligible purchase within the statutory withdrawal period, including before delivery.
Where a valid statutory withdrawal applies, the customer will receive any refund of standard outbound shipping charges required by law. Customers may remain responsible for direct return costs where properly disclosed and legally permitted.
For full details, please see our Refund Policy.
12. Import Restrictions and Local Regulations
Certain countries may restrict or regulate the importation of specific food supplements, botanical ingredients or other products.
Customers should familiarise themselves with applicable local import requirements.
GoodGut Nutrition may cancel or decline an order where we identify a legal restriction preventing shipment.
Where customs authorities detain, reject or seize a parcel, we will review the circumstances, including whether the restriction was reasonably disclosed and whether the shipment complied with applicable requirements.
Nothing in this section excludes our responsibility to supply products in accordance with applicable law or removes any mandatory consumer remedies.
13. Changes to This Shipping Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy to reflect changes in our shipping arrangements, warehouse operations, carrier services, customs procedures or applicable laws.
The version applicable to an order will generally be the version provided when the customer placed that order, subject to applicable law.
Changes to this policy will not retrospectively impose new charges or obligations on orders already placed.
